About the Artist

Clark Renfort

Born in Kansas City Missouri, and raised until age 9 near Chicago, Clark's family moved to Los Gatos, California where his love of woodworking emerged.  Clark currently resides in Laytonville California. For the last 36 years he has built Renfort Lamps with the help and support of his wife Dianne and their children Lauren, Hadyn and Lane.

Artist

Originally a music major in college, Clark used his woodworking training from his father and school to begin creating lighting. His first show of lamps was in 1980. Clark's work can be seen in galleries and art shows throughout the country and abroad.  Dedicated to his craft, Clark personally makes each lamp and shade by hand.
